To see Melanie, start at the 1:15:30 mark. :) No photos from the awards have been posted online yet, so I have screencapped a photo from the video above. I will keep an eye out for better quality ones. 
Results from the IAWTV Awards January 12, 2012 Well, 'Continuum' did not win in its respective categories tonight, but maybe next year! The show had some tough competition. Congrats to all nominees and winners this year! I will have video up tomorrow at the latest of Melanie presenting (if audio came out well) and photos if any become available. Stay tuned! REMINDER: IAWTV awards streaming live TONIGHT! January 12, 2012 Melanie is currently in Las Vegas gearing up for the IAWTV awards tonight. I received word from her this week that she will be presenting an award! Look for her with Al Thompson (A Walk to Remember) when they announce the winners for Best Actor/Actress. And as mentioned before, 'Continuum' is nominated for Best Prod. Design and Best Visual Effects! The awards will be streamed LIVE on IAWTV's youtube channel at 9pm EST, 6pm PST. School kept me incredibly busy and my Christmas break has been filled with lots of sleeping and laziness. But I am back. :) Now, onto the updates... 'Continuum' has been nominated for two IAWTV awards in the following categories: -Best Production Design: Eric Whitney, Continuum -Best Visual Effects: Chad Briggs, Continuum The International Academy of Web Television's inaugural awards will be held on January 12, 2012 in Las Vegas. The awards will be streamed LIVE on IAWTV's youtube channel, http://www.youtube.com/user/Iawtvorg. A new video of Melanie was posted on Continuum's youtube channel. Heads Up September 11, 2011 No new news to report about in regards to Melanie's projects. However, I wanted to extend a big CONGRATS to Melanie on becoming a newlywed! I hope you have a long and very happy marriage! LG15 Reunion August 2, 2011 The second annual VidCon event was held this past weekend (July 28-30) in California, and the cast from LG15 was in attendance, including Melanie! First up is a photo that the facebook page for Continuum posted a few days ago. A process called color grading is being applied to the episodes as part of the final steps to finishing the show! 
Secondly, the creator of Continuum, Blake Calhoun, recently did an interview about the series. Here is a preview of what he had to say: On casting Melanie: "The lead actress Melanie Merkosky (who plays Raegen) was referred to me by Taryn O'Neill, who I had already cast as the Computer's Voice, and so we did the traditional audition process of actors sending in tapes. That took a couple months and we had several really great folks competing for the role, but in the end Melanie just nailed the part. She also has a nice web series resume from her work on Lonely Girl 15 and Harper's Globe." Still Waiting June 3, 2011 Unfortunately I have no new news to report yet. I am still waiting for the results of Futurestates TV's Audience Award poll. Melanie did attend a BodyheART event in late May in Pasadena, CA, but no photos of her have surfaced. She did say that the event was great and had a really good turn out. Stay tuned for new updates once they happen! --------------- UPDATE @ 3:30pm: Unfortunately Melanie's short film, THE DIG, did not win Futurestates TV's Audience Award. Gallery Updates May 2, 2011 The gallery has been updated so head on over there and look around. :-) You do need to register before you can view the gallery, but it's super easy and quick! I'd love it if we could get more users in there. Right now, there are about 6 of us. We can definitely do better than that! I also updated the spotlight picture in the sidebar with a still from the ElfQuest trailer. The Race Is On! May 2, 2011 JUST ANNOUNCED: The FUTURESTATES Audience Award!
